RAW : Recipe & Pics - Creamy Brocolli Soup

This is well worth having a crack at, because its easy. Just put all the ingredients into a blender, blend, plate nicely, garnish AND Enjoy !!

1/2 avocado (ripen well)

1/4 cup shredded cabbage / I used green lettuce

1 cup broccoli

1 clove of garlic

1 TSP diced onion

1 cup coconut creme or 1 cup soaked sunflower seeds (any nuts or seeds will do)1/2 cup soaked sesame seeds (or tahini)

1TSP coconut oil

1 tsp cayenne or a bit of fresh hot pepper ( i also out a dab of turmeric in to the mix )

1/4 cup yellow pepper

 1/4 tsp sea salt

1/4 cup nutritional yeast (optional - gives a nice cheesey flavor)

Because I mainly just prepare for one this recipe will last me a couple of days.I completed to the recipe but I preferred just a wee bit more seasoning. However easy to do and more than easy to ENJOY!! Credit for inspiration to Toni from Raw & Delicious Group on FB.

OCCUPY RAW - Reclaim Your Right to Self Heal!

Right now is the time to ‘Occupy’ a space of personal or group sovereignty.

Millions of people around the world are activating their inner desire to reclaim their rights as human beings to be fairly and justly treated; their rights to a house and food without being prey to the whims of the greedy corporate money lenders.

The Occupy Wall Street movement is leading the vanguard in the western world just as the Summer of Egypt led it in the eastern world. It’s all about a lack of Governmental and corporate love and caring for the rights of the people. For too long rights have been trodden under the feet of beauracratic administration – red tape in the guise of ‘threat to national security’ – ‘we know what’s good for you’ adage and we will choose what you eat, what we inject into your body and whether you are entitled to have a roof over your head and food in your belly.

The same applies to the totally outmoded medical-pharmaceutical model which most people know and understand to be broken and driven only by the corporate desires of the medical and pharmaceutical industry to achieve massive and mind boggling profits.

The sickness industry is alive and well and what are you doing about this ?

The only way a change to the old world model of managing sickness to one of promoting health care and awareness will change is if you stand up now and and say NO-MORE!!

Taking charge of your own healing process – becoming your own Doctor – infact becoming your own ‘Phytonutritional Facilitator’, will be the start of a new wave of consciousness to sweep the planet. It always starts with the ‘power of one’ then the 100-monkey effect kicks in – 2-4-6-8 and so on. 

Raw is just one way to align your body’s natural bio-energetic balance. Plant food contains the resonating patterns which are 1000% aligned with your DNA. Science is even showing us that the levels of phytoenergy in plant foods far exceeds anything the eyes can see but meets the needs, and beyond, of the body’s own bio-cognitive resonance.

Sometime ago I took myself to my personal vision of being whole, complete and balanced. I own this vision, even to this moment, by witnessing my mind and listening more intently to my body. You are invited to do the same.

I know within myself I actually never ever needed to eat the flesh of another animal, be forced to drink the milk of a cow which has been artificially forced to lactate almost 12 months of the year or eat the seeds of the wheat plant which contain a deadly gluten which most digestive systems are unable to break down.

Take A Walk On The Wild Side And Become Your Own Guru!

It’s time now to walk on the ‘self-side’, the voice said inside of my head. ‘Its time what?’ I said back. ‘

‘Its time to become your own Guru – your own follower – your own healer- your own Doctor – it’s TIME now to become YOURSELF’ said the voice.

I agree. It is time. So many people are offering someone something which resembles salvation but really only offers a false sense of hope. Every day I have someone wanting me to provide them with the health solution for a long and happy life – I can point you in the right direction but you must walk with your own shadow. That’s how it works now. The time for following is over. 

There are people with very high media profiles with immense followings. They thrive on it – the followers thrive on it –like a narcotic, always needing their guru fix. There are religious gurus. There are food gurus. There are spiritual and sporting gurus. There are quick fix gurus.

Without doubt there have been great men and great women who have left a legacy of undefinable wisdom.

Becoming self empowered is about opening up your heart to your self. Its about not only believing your are complete in your fullness as a human but also as something even more special – a Heavenly Universal Being – Hu-Man/Woman Being – capable of seeing into darkness and with a myriad of questions, find answers which gladdens the heart and soul, allowing you to grow and feel what its like to be settled and balanced.

In doing so, you DO become a reflection for others to witness themselves within your eyes and aspire to become the YOU they feel and sense within themselves. 

A true Guru doesn’t seek followers or admirers. He seeks only the truth which resides within him/herself and reflect it back to all and sundry so that they may feel their own inner guru.

Follow no one except yourself, then you have no one else to blame if you get lost - no one else except yourself to forgive if you mess up. No one else to be angry at if you feel you have been totally misguided and ripped off. It’s very easy to blame others for your misfortune. In fact the world is geared up for that. Always it is looking for a scape goat – some one to blame- someone to hold responsible. 

The world is like it is because of YOU!! Face up, own up and take responsibility. Always though, others want to blame the government or the ‘unseen forces’ that seemingly control everything in and around them. Humanity has handed its singular and collective consensual power over to the ‘controllers’ – ‘them’ – ‘they’ – the ones pulling the strings. Well NO MORE!! 

Time to become your own guru and take small steps at a time to reclaim your power – say NO more often – and if you are confronted with something ‘which crosses your heart’ – SAY NO even harder. Above all be TRUE and AUTHENTIC TO YOUR SELF. Try it and see what happens.

Be fearless in your desire to reclaim your inner Guru!!

All of us are here to reflect back to each other the greatest test of all creation – to BE IN LOVE, without fear. Fear is indeed the absence of love. So bring the presence of LOVE forward NOW by going within for the admiration and love you need to activate your inner Guru. Try it and if at first you don’t succeed – try and try again!!

Its time now to take a walk on the ‘Wild Side’ and become your GuruSelf!!

A true Guru is one that leaves just one set of footprints and they are yours!!

One of the most amazing healing spices freely available is Turmeric. The active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin. Turmeric has been used for over 2500 years in India, where it was most likely first used as a dye.

The medicinal properties of this spice have been slowly revealing themselves over the centuries. Long known for its anti-inflammatory properties, recent research has revealed that turmeric is a natural wonder, proving beneficial in the treatment of many different health conditions from cancer to Alzheimer's disease.

Here are 20 reasons to add turmeric to your diet:

1. It is a natural antiseptic and antibacterial agent, useful in disinfecting cuts and burns.

2. When combined with cauliflower, it has shown to prevent prostate cancer and stop the growth of existing prostate cancer.

3. Prevented breast cancer from spreading to the lungs in mice.

Once you start using turmeric on a regular basis, it's fun to find new ways to use it in recipes. My favourite way to use it is to add a pinch of it to egg salad. It adds a nice flavour and gives the egg salad a rich yellow hue.

I use Turmeric fresh because I can get it regularly from my local Farmers Market. Drop a clump of it into your morning smoothie!!
